Your Journey to a New Smile Starts Here

Since the concept of osseointegration (implant fusion with natural bone) was introduced in 1969, the field of implant dentistry has developed from an experimental innovation to a highly successful and accurate treatment for replacing missing teeth. A recent large-scale study on people with missing teeth revealed that 44.1% of males and 55.9% of females had dental implants, while numerous studies reported high levels of satisfaction and improved quality of life in patients that received this gold standard tooth replacement solution. Of course, not all dental implants are created equal, and it’s important to visit a clinician with a proven track record delivering superior results. If you’re looking for tooth replacement in San Jose & Campbell, CA, you’re in great hands at The Glen Dental! Our dentists Dr. Bhullar, Dr. Henne, and Dr. Kriegstein have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to learning and mastering the art and science of dental implants since placing his first restoration in 2006. At our practice, it’s always our goal to provide above and beyond treatment that exceeds your expectations!

Avoid Making Costly Mistakes!

Dental implants are a lifetime investment in your health, function, and quality of life. Avoid the common mistakes people make when considering implants by following our recommendations.

Our Smile Transformation Process

Step 1: Initial Consultation

assistant with tina discussing patient history

During the initial one-hour evaluation, our implant coordinator will meet with you to discuss your smile goals. Digital images are taken with cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) technology and an iTero® scanner. We also shoot a short video, take preliminary measurements, and select tooth shades that complement your facial aesthetics. These different elements are used to create a smile design preview that we’ll share at your next appointment. You’ll learn about Dr. Bhullar, Dr. Henne, and Dr. Kriegstein’s background, as well as our technology and facility, and you’ll receive essential information about the dental implant process. You’ll also receive an accurate estimate for the cost of tooth replacement in San Jose & Campbell, CA. Then you’ll meet with our dentists to review your diagnostic imaging and confirm your treatment strategy.

Step 2: Second Visit

During your second appointment, which will take approximately 90 minutes, we’ll review your medical history, discuss your smile design preview, dispense any necessary prescriptions, go over pre- and post-op documents, and ask you to complete consent forms. At this visit, we record measurements with digital facebow technology, which allows precision recording of your jaw and meticulously digitized functional data. This technology enhances our ability to craft highly accurate restorations with our on-site milling machine.

Talks About Why Dental Implant Treatment Experience Matters

The day of surgery, it’s possible to perform tooth extractions and bone grafts prior to placing your full mouth dental implants, under IV sedation. With our Teeth Tomorrow® protocol, you’ll go home after surgery and return the next day to be fitted with your provisional prosthesis.

Step 4: Getting Your Temporary Teeth

Thanks to our on-site lab, we can customize, 3D print and tint your provisional full arch teeth and deliver it the next day, less than 24 hours after your dental implant placement. During this 60-to-90-minute visit, we fit you with your temporary prosthesis and make sure it looks and feels natural before you leave.

Step 5: Brief Follow-Up

About three weeks after you receive dental implants in San Jose & Campbell, CA, you’ll return to our practice for a brief 30-minute appointment. During this visit, we’ll make sure your implant sites are healing properly and your temporary teeth are providing natural-looking aesthetics and optimal oral function.

Step 6: Sixth and Final Visit

Before After
Before After

With full mouth dental implants, the osseointegration process can take four to six months. As such, this appointment is typically scheduled four to five months after your dental implant surgery. During this visit, we’ll examine your mouth to ensure your dental implants are stable and fully integrated, then begin fabrication of your final implant-supported full arch denture. Once it’s ready, you’ll return to our practice to be fitted for your beautiful, permanent teeth!

A Lifetime Investment in Your Smile

Along with lasting, life-changing advantages, dental implants come with a higher initial cost than traditional dentures. Their higher cost is offset by immediate and dramatic improvements to your oral and systemic health, your smile aesthetics and self-esteem. To make dental implants more affordable, we offer in-house financing and partner with reputable third-party financing companies that offer flexible and competitive credit and loan terms. We also stand behind our work, with a one-year guarantee on temporary full arch dental implants and a three-year warranty on your final prosthesis.
